Position Summary
The Client Platform Engineering team is responsible for the configuration, management, and automation of macOS, iOS, Windows, ChromeOS, and Android endpoints to support DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Wolt employees and merchants in their work. Reporting to the Manager, Client Platform Engineering on our Corporate Infrastructure team in the Global IT organization, you will be a key player in ensuring smooth operations across these diverse platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage global corporate and merchant endpoints using macOS (corporate) and Android (merchant), with a mix of other operating systems involved.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of device management solutions for our expanding user base in over 500 cities across 30 countries.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline device deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in endpoint management practices.
What We're Looking For
- A background in IT engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in device management or similar roles.
- Expertise in macOS, iOS, Windows, ChromeOS, and Android operating systems, including configuration and management tools.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to manage endpoint configurations at scale.
- A strong understanding of security best practices for corporate and merchant endpoints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
