About the Role

As Senior Healthcare Compliance Audit Specialist, you'll lead comprehensive audits of clinical and laboratory operations to verify adherence to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. You'll identify compliance risks, evaluate operational controls, and recommend strategic improvements to strengthen our regulatory position.

What You'll Do

• Design, conduct, and document comprehensive compliance audits of laboratory workflows, quality measures, and operational practices
• Evaluate clinical operations for alignment with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory frameworks
• Examine internal control structures and pinpoint compliance weaknesses or operational vulnerabilities
• Develop detailed audit findings reports with actionable recommendations and implementation guidance
• Partner with laboratory leadership and support functions to design and execute corrective measures
• Track compliance initiatives and confirm successful deployment of recommended improvements
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory shifts and evolving industry best practices in healthcare compliance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, clinical compliance, laboratory science, or equivalent discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in healthcare compliance, internal audit, or quality management
• In-depth understanding of CLIA, CAP, and applicable clinical laboratory regulatory requirements
• Proven capability in designing, planning, and delivering compliance audits
• Strong communication abilities for articulating audit results and recommendations to diverse audiences
• Hands-on experience with audit tools, compliance tracking systems, and quality assurance platforms
• Analytical mindset combined with careful attention to detail and strong problem-solving orientation
