Senior GL Accountant (Fixed Term Contract) at Mewssystems - Remote, Full Time

Position Summary

Mewssystems is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will be based remotely and offers full-time employment. As part of our finance department, you'll contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review general ledger entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and other necessary documentation.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
