About This Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team at Talent Associates in Geelong. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial records and providing accurate and timely financial information across multiple Australian and international entities.

Core Duties

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes
• Assist in the preparation of budgetary forecasts and variance analysis reports
• Support internal audit procedures and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately
• Provide support to senior management on financial matters, including cost control and financial planning

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the finance department
• Degree in Accounting or related field
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Australian citizen or permanent resident status is required due to the nature of the role
