About This Position
A growing and successful organisation based in Malvern is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role offers a collaborative working environment where you will contribute effectively to the financial management of the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial reports for management review
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis on actual results against budgeted figures
- Support month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information is provided in a timely manner
What You Bring
- A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within an accounting environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to work and willingness to learn new systems and processes
