This is a full-time position where you'll apply sophisticated computational geology techniques to complex subsurface characterization challenges.
What You'll Do
- Build and refine 3D geological models using industry-standard geomodeling software and datasets
- Analyze core samples, well logs, geophysical data, and other geological information to define mineral distributions and ore grades
- Support mineral resource estimation, mine planning, and geological risk assessment
- Collaborate with mining engineers, geoscientists, and operations teams to translate models into actionable insights
- Document geological findings and present interpretations to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior geological staff and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling methodologies
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree in geology, geoscience, mining geology, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in 3D geomodeling and geological database management
- Strong proficiency with geomodeling software platforms and geospatial analysis tools
- Background in mineral resource or ore deposit geology
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-site in Fort Hancock, Hudspeth County
