About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst at CDM Smith, you will play a central role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You'll partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that shape business strategy and ensure sound financial management across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive financial analyses, forecasts, and models to support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions
• Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for executive leadership and key stakeholders
• Manage and oversee budget development, monitoring, and reconciliation across assigned departments or business units
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify cost-savings opportunities and operational improvements
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support project evaluations, feasibility studies, and business cases
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial controls
• Recommend and help implement process enhancements to strengthen financial planning and reporting capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or similar roles
• Demonstrated proficiency with financial modeling, spreadsheet analysis, and business intelligence platforms
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in team-based environments
