About This Position

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas to ensure accurate and efficient data storage and retrieval
• Ensure data quality and security by implementing rigorous data validation and security protocols
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing systems

Core Duties

• Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, and Kafka
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support various business needs
• Ensure data quality through data validation, cleansing, and transformation
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Optimize data processing systems for performance and efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with data engineering tools and technologies, including Apache Airflow, Spark, and Kafka
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Knowledge of data validation, cleansing, and transformation techniques
• Experience with data security measures and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with large-scale data systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
