This full-time position is located in Atlanta, Fulton County and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated Tax Court cases, offshore compliance issues, and substantial audits for discerning clients.

We seek an experienced tax attorney with deep expertise in tax controversy matters. You'll be instrumental in handling Tax Court litigation, managing sophisticated offshore compliance structures, and defending clients through high-value audit proceedings. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who combines technical mastery with business acumen and is driven to build a meaningful legacy serving clients on their most contested tax matters.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in Tax Court litigation involving complex substantive and procedural tax issues
• Develop and execute tax controversy strategies for high-net-worth individuals and entities
• Lead offshore compliance engagements, including voluntary disclosures and related enforcement matters
• Analyze and defend clients through substantial audit proceedings and hazards-of-litigation assessments
• Conduct in-depth legal research on novel and unsettled tax positions
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships grounded in technical insight and sound business judgment

What We're Looking For

• Admission to practice law in Georgia or ability to obtain admission
• Substantial experience litigating federal income tax matters, including Tax Court cases
• Advanced knowledge of tax controversy, transfer pricing, international tax structures, or related specializations
• Demonstrated expertise in offshore compliance, voluntary disclosures, and related procedural matters
• Excellence in legal writing and persuasive written advocacy
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to diverse audiences and build client confidence
• Track record of managing sophisticated client relationships and applying tax law to real-world business situations
