Senior Associate Attorney/Counsel, FDA

California Job Shop, a leading boutique law firm, seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to strengthen its FDA regulatory practice in our Manhattan office on Church Street. This is a full-time position for an experienced attorney ready to advance a specialized healthcare law career.

About the Role

This senior-level position focuses on FDA regulatory matters within our Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. As a specialized law firm, we provide sophisticated counsel to companies navigating the complex regulatory landscape governing food, drugs, devices, and biologics. You'll work directly with clients ranging from startups to established organizations on high-stakes compliance and strategic issues.

What You'll Do

• Advise clients on FDA regulations, enforcement actions, and compliance strategies across pharmaceutical, medical device, and biologics sectors
• Handle pre-market and post-market regulatory submissions and agency interactions
• Counsel clients on labeling, marketing claims, and product positioning compliance
• Manage complex regulatory matters requiring detailed knowledge of FDA statutes and guidance
• Build and maintain client relationships through responsive, sophisticated legal service
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm growth and knowledge development

What We're Looking For

• Admitted to practice in New York or eligible to do so
• Significant experience in FDA law, healthcare regulation, or related regulatory practice
• Track record of managing sophisticated client matters and regulatory strategy
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
• Commitment to professional excellence and business development
