What You'll Do

• Conduct regular and thorough patrols of assigned facilities and perimeters to detect and deter security threats
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations with professionalism and clear judgment
• Maintain communication with dispatch and security teams using radio and reporting systems
• Document security observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports
• Enforce facility policies, safety protocols, and security procedures consistently
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when needed
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality

What We're Looking For

• Current or Secret-level security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one
• Valid Security Officer license for Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and ability to work assigned schedules
