The Opportunity

As a Sales Associate at Dollar General, you'll be the friendly face behind our counter and throughout our store. This role is central to creating a positive shopping experience while maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming retail environment. Core Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products throughout the store
• Operate the cash register accurately and process customer transactions securely
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing and attractive presentation
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise, and follow Dollar General operational standards
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally while building positive relationships
• Support the sales associate team and store leadership to achieve daily sales and service goals

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is valued
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn our point-of-sale systems
