Stride, Inc. is hiring a Related Services Contractor-2 to coordinate therapy and related services for K-12 students across the United States. This full-time, home-based role keeps special education support compliant, well-documented, and delivered on time.

About the Role

As a Related Services Contractor-2 with Stride, Inc., you act as the central point of contact for teachers, school staff, and outside service providers on all therapy and related services (RS) delivered to students under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan. You will safeguard adherence to federal and state procedures, timelines, and reporting requirements tied to securing and providing these services. This is a remote, home-based position that may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a statewide network of public and private providers, including hospitals, universities, and schools.
  • Negotiate service rates based on market value and establish and renew provider contracts.
  • Confirm contracts stay compliant, verifying current licensure and documentation.
  • Keep an accurate provider database and use the Related Service Manager (RSM) or comparable systems to track delivery.
  • Place students needing RS quickly — within one week — with an online provider or one located within 30 miles of the student's home.
  • Collect progress reports, evaluations, and IEP documentation, and monitor session attendance and student enrollment.
  • Train providers, therapists, teachers, and other stakeholders on the RSM, invoice approval, and school platforms such as IEP systems and SharePoint.
  • Partner with the Business Manager and Special Programs Manager to verify and approve RS invoices, track expenditures against budget, and prepare status reports on request.
  • Resolve provider and school conflicts promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

  • Strong independent problem-solving, organization, and time and task prioritization skills.
  • Comfort adapting to change and rapidly learning new technologies and online platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and the web.
  • A distraction-free home office and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% and pass a required background check.
  • Preferred: experience with public or charter schools, special education or RS, and Medicaid billing.
