RN Registered Nurse, Part Time, Up to $42

Join Pebble Creek Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare family, as a Part Time Registered Nurse in Akron, Summit County. We're recruiting experienced RN Charge Nurses to deliver direct patient care and clinical leadership on our units.

The Opportunity

This part-time RN position combines clinical impact with schedule flexibility. CommuniCare has recently increased our wage scale to attract and retain exceptional nursing professionals. You'll provide direct patient care in a healthcare setting where your expertise and leadership contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes and team success.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care on your assigned unit, following established clinical protocols and standards of nursing practice
• Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Serve as charge nurse, providing clinical leadership and coordinating care activities on the unit
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Communicate with patients, families, and team members regarding care needs and clinical updates

Who We're Looking For

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in acute or long-term care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and colleagues
• Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and quality nursing care
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential shift and weekend scheduling
