Position Summary

Geisinger is recruiting Registered Nurses for inpatient hospital roles in Scranton, Lackawanna County. This full-time position welcomes both experienced RNs and recent graduate nurses, offering hiring incentives up to $26,000 for experienced candidates and up to $21,000 for graduate nurses. With a minimum base rate of $40.55 per hour plus shift differentials up to $7 per hour for evening, night, and weekend shifts, this is a competitive healthcare opportunity. Eligible candidates may also receive relocation assistance to support your transition to the Scranton area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned inpatients throughout your shift
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes with the clinical team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document nursing observations, patient responses, and clinical data in the medical record
• Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity during their hospital stay

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
