About the Role
At UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is a full-time position with a flexible 0.9 FTE schedule, offering 72 hours per pay period (two weeks). Day and night shifts will be rotated as part of the job responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute care medicine specialties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as directed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the medical team
- Participate in shift rotations for both day and night duties
Who We're Looking For
- A graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Experience in acute care medicine specialties is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment is beneficial
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
