Role Overview
This position is a Temporary Travel RN in the Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) at UCHealth. The role involves full-time employment with a 72-hour work schedule over two weeks. Shifts will rotate between day and night, or exclusively nights.
What You'll Do
- Provide top-of-the-practice nursing care in the ICU/PCU setting using the nursing process.
- Model proficiency through precepting new healthcare professionals and those new to UCHealth.
- Contribute to the overall quality of patient care within the department.
Skills & Qualifications
- Critical Care Nursing experience preferred, but not required for ICU/PCU.
- Current RN license or eNLC privileges.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including day and night rotations.
- Strong patient care skills and ability to handle critical situations effectively.
