This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working alongside a dedicated clinical team.

About the Role

As an RN in Medical Acute Care at UCHealth, you'll deliver comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients. This is a full-time position based at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, with a 72-hour biweekly schedule that includes both day and night shift rotations. This is an onsite role with no remote or hybrid option available.

What You'll Do

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and clinical status throughout each shift
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy under established protocols
• Perform nursing interventions and wound care with attention to infection control standards
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in clinical condition
• Support unit operations and contribute to a collaborative care environment

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Colorado
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a high-acuity setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience is valued
