About the Role

As a Restoration Technician, you will join a team that responds quickly to water, fire, mold, and storm damage, helping customers return their spaces to safe, pre‑loss condition. The position operates out of the Eagan service center and serves the St. Paul metropolitan area and surrounding communities.

What You'll Do

• Assess damage sites and develop action plans for water extraction, structural drying, debris removal, and cleaning.
• Operate industry‑standard equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture detectors, and cleaning agents.
• Perform demolition and reconstruction tasks as needed, including drywall repair, flooring replacement, and paint preparation.
• Document work progress with photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes for insurance and customer communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and ensure all tools are calibrated and ready for each job.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with property owners, adjusters, and crew leads to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in restoration, construction, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in water mitigation, fire damage cleanup, or general construction is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to be on‑call for emergency responses outside regular business hours when needed.
• Basic computer skills for completing reports and using scheduling software.
