About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist II with our organization, you'll deliver specialized respiratory care across various care settings. This part-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise during essential evening and overnight hours when experienced respiratory support is critically needed.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient respiratory status through clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and support equipment
• Manage airways and perform airway clearance techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient care documentation
• Ensure equipment functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols
• Respond to clinical emergencies and acute respiratory situations

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
• Current South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners respiratory therapy license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Prior clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication abilities
• Comfort working night shift schedules in fast-paced care environments
