About the Role

As a Repair and Tool Technician at our Murrieta Hot Springs location, you'll work in both our retail Tool Rental Centers and dedicated repair facilities to keep equipment running smoothly. This full-time position combines hands-on technical expertise with customer service, ensuring every tool and piece of equipment that leaves our store functions safely and reliably.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and diagnose issues with small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld power tools
• Perform repairs and maintenance work on rental and customer equipment
• Test repaired units to confirm proper functionality and safety compliance
• Recommend appropriate equipment to customers based on their project needs and rental preferences
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and service history
• Inspect tools before and after rental periods to identify damage and safety concerns
• Collaborate with store team members to ensure efficient Tool Rental Center operations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience repairing small engines and power equipment or equivalent hands-on technical training
• Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair specifications
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
