About the Role
As a part-time weekend Registered Nurse, you'll be a trusted member of our care team, maintaining continuity and quality across our facility's weekend operations. Your clinical expertise and dedication to resident wellbeing will directly impact the health outcomes and satisfaction of those in our care. This position offers meaningful work in a structured healthcare environment with a predictable schedule.
What You'll Do
- Assess resident health status and monitor vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
- Administer medications safely and accurately, maintaining complete documentation
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and catheter management as needed
- Provide direct patient care and support activities of daily living
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans
- Chart and document clinical observations, treatments, and resident responses in medical records
- Educate residents and families about medications, treatments, and health maintenance
- Respond promptly to resident needs and concerns throughout your shift
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Demonstrated clinical experience in nursing care, patient assessment, and patient education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Physical capability to lift, bend, and move with residents safely
- Commitment to person-centered care and compassionate service delivery
- Reliability and professional responsibility in a weekend schedule
