About the Role
You'll provide direct care to adult patients on our inpatient unit during the 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift. Natchaug Hospital is committed to creating a workplace where nurses thrive—one that prioritizes your development, well-being, and success alongside patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Assess and monitor patients, responding to changes in condition and reporting findings to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while maintaining meticulous documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and clinical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs throughout their stay
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
What We're Looking For
- Valid Connecticut RN license
