Hartford Hospital is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to join our Cardiology unit in Middletown, Connecticut. We actively welcome both experienced RNs and graduate nurses (GNs) to provide specialized cardiovascular care in a supportive, clinical environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time nursing position within our Cardiology services at 80 Seymour Street. You'll work one of multiple shifts available, caring for patients with cardiac conditions and contributing to a team where clinical excellence and patient outcomes drive daily work.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions and post-cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and clinical responses throughout your shift
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac health, medications, and recovery
• Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation and nursing records
• Respond to patient needs in a specialized cardiac care setting

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or graduate nurse (GN) credential
• Strong clinical observation and assessment capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving clinical environment
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and colleagues

• Availability to work assigned shifts flexibly
