About the Role
As a Registered Nurse PreOp PACU II at Main Line Spine, you will care for patients before and after surgical procedures, guiding them through pre-operative preparation and supporting their recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). This part-time position in King of Prussia is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment and values delivering high-quality, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery by completing pre-operative assessments, reviewing histories, and providing clear education.
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU, tracking vital signs and responding to changing clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting care in patient records.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow teammates to ensure safe, coordinated care.
- Uphold patient safety standards, infection-control protocols, and SCA Health's mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Clinical experience in pre-operative, PACU, perioperative, or related acute-care nursing preferred.
