About the Role
As an ortho trauma med-surg nurse at Mission Hospital, you'll provide direct patient care across multiple units, managing complex cases that demand clinical precision, compassion, and adaptability. What You'll Do
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs; develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor vital signs and patient responses
- Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, and case managers to support discharge planning

What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (active and in good standing in North Carolina)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and position patients safely; physical stamina for an acute-care environment
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing, trauma, or orthopedic nursing is preferred
