What You'll Do
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment according to surgical protocols
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and ensure proper handling of all materials
- Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures to protect patient safety
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical teams with precision and anticipation
- Monitor patient positioning and comfort during surgery
- Assist in counting instruments, sponges, and specimens before and after procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to create an organized, efficient operating environment
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and OR protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment as needed
- Valid credentials and willingness to maintain continuing education requirements
