About the Role

As a Pulmonary Med Surg Registered Nurse, you'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic hospital environment, focusing on individuals recovering from surgery and managing complex pulmonary conditions. This is a part-time position that offers schedule flexibility while delivering quality nursing care alongside an experienced clinical team.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and assess patients with pulmonary conditions and post-surgical needs, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, and respiratory function
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation and communication with the medical team
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, recovery expectations, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by responding promptly to patient needs and concerns
• Maintain current infection control and patient privacy standards

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina or active multi-state nursing license
• Experience in medical-surgical, pulmonary, or acute care nursing (preferred but candidates with strong foundational skills welcome)
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
