About the Role

As an Owner Operator at Clark Transfer, you'll transport specialized theatrical and entertainment cargo — from Broadway productions and concert tours to regional theater performances and major special events — across North America. This is specialized logistics work where timing and reliability directly impact live audiences. You'll operate your own equipment, manage your business operations, and work closely with our dispatch and logistics teams to ensure every load arrives safely and on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Operate your own commercial dry van for long-distance, over-the-road entertainment industry hauls
• Maintain and service your equipment to ensure consistent reliability and safety
• Coordinate with Clark Transfer dispatch for load assignments, route planning, and delivery schedules
• Manage fuel costs, mileage optimization, and operational logistics as an independent operator
• Ensure all cargo arrives safely and on time to support live events across North America
• Maintain detailed operational records and comply with all DOT regulations and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial trucking experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Dry van equipment ownership or demonstrated ability to secure reliable equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and commitment to proactive vehicle maintenance
• Strong communication skills and a reputation for reliability and professionalism
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with our team
• Thorough knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and logbook requirements
