About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our pulmonary and medical-surgical services, you'll serve as a key liaison between patients, clinical teams, and care management—coordinating complex patient journeys and ensuring seamless transitions throughout their hospital stay. This role is central to our mission of advancing clinical outcomes while supporting our nurses in delivering exceptional, evidence-based care.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate care activities and workflow management across pulmonary and medical-surgical patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Support the implementation of clinical protocols and best practices, including our Enhanced Surgical Recovery program designed to reduce opioid use and post-operative readmissions
• Facilitate patient and family education and communication throughout the care continuum
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that advance clinical excellence and patient safety
• Participate in a learning health system environment where innovation in stroke response, sepsis detection, and surgical recovery directly improves care delivery

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Clinical nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical, pulmonary, or acute care settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, evidence-driven care environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
