About This Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Glen Osmond Grove Care Community in Adelaide. As a part-time employee, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess the health needs of residents on a regular basis.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific requirements of each resident.
- Provide medication management, ensuring all medications are administered correctly and as per prescribed guidelines.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities to promote physical and mental health.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Skills & Qualifications
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Familiarity with aged care regulations and best practices.
