Role Overview
Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Department (ED) position in Alexandria, Virginia. The role will begin on August 24, 2026, and lasts for 13 weeks with a commitment of 36 hours per week during the day shift.
Core Duties
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide immediate care in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as required by medical protocols.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia or eligible for licensure.
- Active BLS certification.
- ED experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
