The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a critical care professional in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This is a full-time position based out of Bedford, Alabama. The shift involves working 3x12-hour days from 07:00 - 19:30.
Core Duties
- Educate and support patients and their families in understanding medical conditions and treatments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and intervene when necessary to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) certification is required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- NICU or MICU experience is a plus, but 1 year of ICU experience as a first timer is acceptable.
- A valid Michigan RN License must be in hand.
