About the Role
As a Recreation Advisor, you will design and facilitate engaging recreational and wellness programs that support student development and well-being at our Job Corps training center. You'll create inclusive, dynamic experiences that complement career training while building leadership skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among program participants.
What You'll Do
- Plan and lead diverse recreational activities and programs aligned with student interests and personal development goals
- Supervise students during recreational activities, maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
- Develop mentoring relationships that encourage consistent participation and personal growth
- Maintain recreational equipment, facilities, and activity spaces in proper working condition
- Coordinate with staff across departments to integrate recreation into the overall Job Corps experience
- Track program participation and provide feedback on student engagement and progress

Compensation and Benefits
