Lee County School System is hiring a full-time School Receptionist for its Lee County Transitional Learning Center. This essential administrative position serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, students, families, and staff.

About the Role

The School Receptionist at Lee County Transitional Learning Center is the welcoming face of our campus. Reporting directly to the Principal, you'll manage front-office operations, greet visitors with professionalism, and coordinate communication across the school. This full-time role is fundamental to our school's daily operations and sets the tone for everyone who enters our building.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome visitors, students, parents, vendors, and community members with courtesy and professionalism
• Answer, screen, and transfer phone calls; accurately log messages and follow up appropriately
• Process visitor sign-ins, maintain security protocols, and manage building access procedures
• Maintain organized office records, files, and database systems with precision
• Schedule meetings and appointments for administrators and coordinate campus events
• Perform clerical duties including correspondence, data entry, typing, and document preparation
• Provide administrative support to the Principal and school leadership team
• Respond to student inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources and staff

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional presence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized in a busy school environment
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and typical office software
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive school information
• Genuine interest in supporting students, families, and the school community
• High school diploma or GED required
