Architectural Arts is seeking a Full‑Time Production Worker to join its shop team in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto County.
About the Role
As a Production Worker you will support the flow of work across multiple stations in the shop, helping to keep production on schedule. The position reports directly to shop supervisors and calls for a flexible attitude, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn new tasks as needed.
What You'll Do
- Unload incoming shipments, verify packing documents, and stage raw materials for downstream processes.
- Prepare finished components by sanding surfaces to the required smoothness before coating or assembly.
- Assist in building cabinets by aligning panels, fastening hardware, and checking for squareness and fit.
- Move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or manual handling, placing items in designated storage or work areas.
- Package completed orders for shipping, affixing labels and ensuring items are protected for transit.
- Maintain a tidy workstation by sweeping debris, organizing tools, and following all safety protocols.
- Take direction from supervisors, ask clarifying questions when instructions are unclear, and complete tasks within the established timeframes.

- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to showing up ready to work each shift.
- Aptitude for following verbal and written directions accurately and seeking clarification when necessary.
- Adaptability to shift between different work areas such as shipping, finishing, assembly, and material handling as production needs change.
- Basic comfort using common shop hand tools and a willingness to adhere to safety guidelines (training will be provided).
- Attention to detail that helps maintain quality standards while meeting daily output expectations.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with teammates and supervisors.
