About the Role
This Quality Control Manager position offers the opportunity to oversee quality standards and compliance across multiple active federal construction projects. With strong recent contract wins and an expanding project pipeline, you'll build and refine quality assurance processes that keep sophisticated government work on schedule while satisfying rigorous federal specifications.
What You'll Do
- Lead quality inspections, testing, and documentation at jobsites throughout the region
- Ensure full compliance with federal requirements including OSHA, FAA, building codes, and government standards
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain consistent quality benchmarks
- Develop and implement quality control procedures aligned with project scope and federal mandates
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain detailed quality assurance records
- Travel regularly to support active projects across the southern United States
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated success as a Quality Control Manager or quality assurance lead in federal or heavy construction
- Expert knowledge of federal construction compliance, building codes, and government quality standards
- Strong capabilities in inspections, testing, evaluation, and documentation
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and comfort with frequent travel
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
