Quality Assurance Graduate (Software Solutions 12 Month Contract) – I&T, Head Office Reitz

VKB Group is recruiting a Quality Assurance Graduate for a 12-month full-time contract in our I&T department at our Head Office in Reitz, Nketoana. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in software quality assurance within a leading agricultural organisation.

What This Role Involves

As a Quality Assurance Graduate in our Software Solutions team, you will contribute to the testing, validation, and continuous improvement of software applications that support VKB Group's operations across southern Africa. Working alongside experienced QA professionals in the I&T department, you'll develop practical testing skills whilst ensuring software reliability and quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and assist with automated testing of software systems and applications
• Identify, document, and report software defects and issues clearly and systematically
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and validate solutions
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and quality assurance activities
• Support regression testing and quality checks across software releases
• Learn and apply industry-standard testing methodologies and tools

Skills & Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts and the software development lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in team settings
• Eagerness to develop expertise in quality assurance tools and methodologies
