Coastal Horizons Center is hiring a full-time Qualified Professional for its Brunswick County Day Treatment program in Shallotte, North Carolina — a meaningful chance to support the well-being of children, adolescents, and their families.

About the Role

As a Qualified Professional with the Brunswick County Day Treatment team, you will deliver therapeutic services to identified youth across school and community settings throughout southeastern North Carolina. The aim of this on-site position in Shallotte is to ease behavioral and emotional symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and help young people thrive at home, at school, and in their neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents within school and community environments.
• Partner with families to support each young person's treatment goals and progress.
• Work toward reducing presenting symptoms and improving overall functioning for participating youth.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to coordinate effective care.
• Maintain documentation and follow program standards consistent with day treatment services.

Qualifications

• Meets the criteria of a Qualified Professional as defined for child and adolescent mental health and substance abuse services in North Carolina.
• Experience working with youth and families in clinical, school, or community-based settings is valued.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Shallotte and surrounding Brunswick County communities.
