QA Technician

Amcor is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Madison, Dane County to join our Quality Department and help ensure every product meets our customers' exacting standards. This is a full-time position on a 12-hour night shift (Wednesday–Friday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m., with rotating Saturday hours).

About the Role

As a QA Technician at Amcor's Madison facility, you'll perform quality testing and inspections on flexibles products to verify compliance with customer specifications and internal standards. Working within a team of 8 quality specialists at our 125-person operation, you'll be a critical part of maintaining Amcor's reputation for manufacturing excellence.

What You'll Do

• Conduct hands-on quality testing and inspections on manufactured products throughout the production process
• Verify that finished goods meet customer specifications and quality requirements
• Document test results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify and report quality issues to production and management teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and waste
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns

What We're Looking For

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and quality standards
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in testing and documentation
• Basic measurement and lab skills or willingness to develop them on the job
• Reliable, safety-conscious work habits and strong teamwork
• Availability to work night shifts (Wed–Fri 6 p.m.–6 a.m., with rotating Saturdays)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
