Electrical Technician

Amcor is hiring an Electrical Technician at our Mountain Top, Luzerne County facility. In this full-time position, you'll diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment failures, perform preventive maintenance, and keep our operations running at peak efficiency.

What This Role Involves

You are the technical expert responsible for maintaining critical equipment across our facility. Every day, you'll combine hands-on troubleshooting with preventive care to minimize downtime and maximize reliability. Your ability to quickly identify root causes and execute repairs under time pressure directly impacts our production performance and safety record.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and inspections on all facility equipment
• Diagnose and isolate electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment and technical expertise
• Repair equipment and return it to full operational status in the shortest timeframe possible
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned failures
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement lasting solutions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and equipment condition

What You Bring

• Solid foundation in electrical systems, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting methodology
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious work ethic and willingness to follow established protocols
