Maintenance Manager

Amcor is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in the United States. In this full-time role, you'll lead maintenance operations and drive operational excellence across our facilities, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As Maintenance Manager at Amcor, you'll take ownership of facility maintenance strategies that keep our packaging operations running smoothly and efficiently. You'll oversee maintenance teams, manage equipment performance, and implement preventive maintenance programs that minimize downtime and extend asset life. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on production quality and operational efficiency across our US operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise maintenance staff, providing technical guidance, training, and performance management
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and strategies to reduce unplanned downtime
• Manage maintenance budgets, equipment costs, and resource allocation
• Conduct equipment inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinate repairs
• Collaborate with production teams to identify operational challenges and implement solutions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, track key performance indicators, and report on facility status
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture on the floor
• Evaluate equipment needs and make recommendations for capital investments and upgrades

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar supervisory role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate maintenance teams
• Solid understanding of safety protocols, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance scheduling software
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or college degree preferred
