About the Role

As a PT Laborer/Refuse Collector with the City of Little Rock Public Works team, you will play a vital part in delivering essential sanitation and refuse collection services throughout Little Rock, Pulaski County. This position supports the daily operations that residents depend on, combining physical work with reliable, community-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, load, and transport household and commercial refuse along assigned routes across Little Rock.
• Assist crew members with general labor tasks supporting Public Works operations.
• Operate and handle collection equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Provide dependable, courteous service to residents and business owners along each route.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
