RightWorks seeks an experienced Patent Agent to join our Intellectual Property practice in Glendale, Los Angeles County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to advance patent prosecution expertise with a growing legal services firm.

About the Role

We're seeking a Patent Agent with three or more years of professional experience in patent prosecution. Based in our Glendale office, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality patent services and supporting our clients' innovation portfolios.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Draft patent specifications and technical documentation with precision
• Respond to office actions and manage USPTO correspondence
• Support inventors and clients through the patent application lifecycle
• Conduct patent searches and analyses to inform prosecution strategy
• Collaborate across teams to advance RightWorks' intellectual property practice

What We're Looking For

• Minimum three years of patent prosecution experience
• Strong technical background in a relevant discipline
• Thorough knowledge of patent law and USPTO procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Professional approach to client relationships and work quality
