About This Position

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager for our multidisciplinary team in Durban, eThekwini. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive management of issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

• A proven track record in managing multidisciplinary projects within the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar.
• A relevant degree in a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in project management roles.
