About This Position
AECOM is seeking a motivated Environmental Geologist for employment in the Orlando, FL office. This position will support the Environmental business line, primarily working on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
<h2-Core Duties- Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions
- Supports project teams in conducting site investigations, data analysis, and report writing
- Contributes to the development of remediation strategies for contaminated sites
- Works closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental geology, preferably within the DoD sector
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of geological principles and their application to environmental remediation
- Experience with site characterization techniques and contaminant fate and transport modeling
- Proficient in using GIS software, Excel, and other relevant tools for data analysis
