The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team at Beca in Melbourne. As a key member of the Project, Program and Asset Services (PPAS) team, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality projects that meet client expectations while driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and regular updates
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implement quality control measures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and success

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record of managing large-scale projects in the engineering or construction industry
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in guiding cross-functional teams towards project goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
