About the Role
The Program Regional Strategist at Sierra Club is a key position within our Membership Growth Department. This role supports 64 local chapters in raising funds through project management and coaching for their mid and major gift level programs. The SPARC (Strategic Path for Advancing Relationships through Coaching) Program aims to help chapters meet their annual budget goals by leveraging the power of interdependence between ecology, race, gender, and representative government.
Responsibilities
- Support local chapters in developing and executing mid and major gift fundraising strategies
- Provide project management and coaching for SPARC Program initiatives
- Travel to support regional chapter events and meetings as needed
- Collaborate with the SPARC Program Assistant Director and other team members to ensure successful implementation of the program
- Contribute to the overall mission of Sierra Club by promoting environmental, racial, economic, and gender justice
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or related fields
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
