Your Responsibilities

• Build personal connections with patients and customers across the full span of their dispensary visits
• Share clear information about product choices, usage methods, and key safety points
• Propose safe, suitable options drawn from current expertise while staying informed on new items
• Help foster an encouraging atmosphere centered on open conversation and guest priorities
• Confirm accuracy of incoming order deliveries
• Assist leadership so daily operations, facility care, and responses to guest concerns stay efficient and fully rule-compliant
• Enforce applicable local and state cannabis regulations
• Keep sales displays stocked and maintain a polished, standards-aligned store presentation
• Handle required hard-copy records
• Observe all security steps and safety procedures
• Complete front-of-house tasks such as guest check-in, sales-floor guidance, point-of-sale work across kiosks, in-store transactions, and pre-orders, plus curbside and drive-through service
• Carry out back-of-house activities including order preparation, shipment receipt, restocking, and inventory counts
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and presentation expectations throughout the space
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• At least one year of customer-service experience, with preference for specialty retail roles involving direct public contact
• Flexibility for schedules that include mornings, days, nights, and weekends to meet operational needs
• Consistently reliable attendance
• Age 21 or older
• Ability to pass background checks, including state cannabis-industry requirements
• Valid driver’s license or state identification
• Ongoing compliance with all cannabis-industry laws and company rules
• No prior cannabis experience required
• Capacity to move about the store for entire shifts while assisting guests, remain stationary when business requires, speak and write clearly with individuals and groups, operate point-of-sale systems plus computers and software for documents, databases, spreadsheets and email, prepare orders by handling products, carefully review details such as dates of birth and inquiry information, lift materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently, and adjust body position to reach stored items
• Proven excellent customer-service skills
• Willingness to grow knowledge of cannabis compounds, related systems, company products, and therapeutic uses (prior familiarity preferred)
• Skill at establishing and sustaining productive working connections with colleagues
• Effective listening plus clear verbal and written communication for varied audiences
• Experience with point-of-sale systems
• Understanding of relevant cannabis laws, safety standards, local codes, organizational rules, and standard procedures
• Ability to follow directions and apply constructive feedback from supervisors
• High professionalism and integrity when handling confidential details and meeting privacy standards such as HIPAA
• Comfort working in a patient- and customer-facing environment that may involve outdoor tasks under varying weather and possible exposure to cannabis or associated allergens
