Zeissgroup is seeking a Product Manager (f/m/x) for Metrology Sensors Coordinate & Vision Measuring Machines (CMM & VMM) to join its team in Oberkochen on a full-time basis. Position Summary

In the Product Manager (f/m/x) for Metrology Sensors Coordinate & Vision Measuring Machines (CMM & VMM) role at Zeissgroup in Oberkochen, you will own the commercial and technical direction of sensor products that equip coordinate measuring machines and vision measuring machines. You will translate customer and market requirements into clear priorities, work closely with engineering and commercial colleagues, and ensure the portfolio remains competitive and relevant throughout its lifecycle. The full-time position demands analytical judgement, cross-functional leadership, and a commitment to delivering measurable value for users of CMM and VMM systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and multi-year roadmap for metrology sensors designed for use with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision measuring machines (VMM)
• Collect and prioritise customer feedback, market trends and application data to shape feature definitions and investment decisions
• Partner with development teams to generate clear product requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs and track delivery against milestones
• Prepare and deliver product training, positioning materials and competitive comparisons that equip sales and application specialists in Oberkochen and beyond
• Lead go-to-market planning, pricing rationale and launch activities while continuously monitoring product performance metrics
• Assess emerging measurement technologies and competitor offerings to refine the product pipeline and protect market share

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated product-management track record, preferably with sensors, industrial measurement or related technical products
• Working knowledge of coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision measuring machines (VMM) and the metrology sensors that support them
• Ability to convert complex technical and commercial inputs into prioritised, actionable product plans
• Strong communication and facilitation skills that allow productive collaboration across engineering, sales and leadership groups
• Relevant degree-level education in engineering, natural sciences, business or an equivalent discipline
• Proficiency in English together with a readiness to engage local stakeholders at the Oberkochen site
